The house was beautiful, staff was kind and courteous, the room was nice and the bed was comfortable
I would have liked shampoo in the shower. also a couple towels since i stayed more than one night. I didn't have breakfast either morning as no one was around when I came downstairs.

Doreen was an excellent host and she met me at the door and welcomed me into the property. I'm used to having to figure out the door code and where the room is on my own from other services I have used, so this was lovely. Doreen asked if I'd like coffee in the mornings to go along with the home made muffins, fruit and juices she had available. Alas, I was never able to take her up on her offer due to my early bird off-site meetings. I took the basement suite Room#8 that had a single queen bed with adjoining bathroom. The basement has a little kitchenette right off the stairs, but I was unable to use that area of the space. It was lovely that it was available. There were young children present, but they quieted down about the time I was heading to bed, too. No problems there. Overall, an amazingly lovely stay for only $55/night.
The basement had been recently renovated and I could see they had made a significant effort. They also had 3 other guests staying with them and they had left the kitchenette a bit untidy and hadn't wiped up after themselves. Also, I only received one towel, no hand towel and no washcloth, but that was easily remedied when I found the closet with the linens. Doreen had made sure I knew I could text her at anytime, but I didn't want to disturb her for a washcloth, so that one is on me.
