Relaxing, felt off grid with everything close to hand

Set up, feel/vibe was perfect

10 / 10

It was the kind of getaway where we were able to just the time to sit back and relax.

The property was fully wooden made. While it is cozy and warm, I admired its beauty in its simplicity.

Some weird industrial noises at times were a real bummer but we were informed about it since there are orchards all around and the spraying they do.

10 / 10

A very special place to stay

Incredible cottage with so many thoughtful touches, and hosts are so hospitable. We especially loved the outdoor bath, free bikes, lovely big bedroom/living room with views and plenty of places to relax, and comfortable bed with nice linens. Easy driving/cycling distance to many of Hawke’s Bay’s attractions.

Nothing not to like.

Julie and Alan were welcoming hosts and we appreciated their local tips and the use of their bikes to visit the wineries

Cosy, comfortable and private cottage.
