Lovely little cottage, with very comfortable beds and amenities. The hot tub was a hit! Lots of useful cooking facilities and games in the house too!
Unfortunately the downstairs toilet had plumbing issues, first with no water, then it kept running and wouldn’t stop causing a leak in the floor. The homeowner was made aware and was planning to send someone to sort it after our stay.

The quirkiness of many features in the cottage. The shower was very popular with its multi features.
The hot tub was a great asset, and the size of the living area was really good for our family get together.
We were very impressed with the unusual upholstery.
Angel was very friendly and helpful.
Enjoyed the walks in the surrounding countryside.
It would have been helpful to have cupboard space for our own food we brought for the weekend.

Comfortable, aesthetically pleasing.
Plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. The overall temperature inside was nice, hot tub was great. Water temperature all around the house was nice and hot, the shower is amazing!
Flavoured coffee pods were supplied. Parking for 2 cars was available.
We booked for 8 and lacked cutlery for the size of the group, there weren’t enough spoons or forks which was a shame. The oven is also a let-down as it takes forever to even crisp a few garlic slices. This definitely needs fixing. We found we had to use the hob for everything instead.
Could’ve done with more toilet rolls being available, and also needed some kitchen towels (to help with spillages, cleaning etc)
The rug in the room downstairs was itchy and some of the girls did end up with little bites on their legs so this may need cleaning or replacing.
Both sides of the cottage belong to/are accessible by the owner (and she stays in the annex next door) so you do feel as though there’s not much privacy (more so because there were workmen around too). Especially when in the back of the garden where the ground is higher. That said, we got past it and still enjoyed ourselves.

What wasn’t to love! We all had a wonderful stay and the dogs loved it too!
