You could snorkel right off the beach but you did have to time it right, to fit in with tides. The hotel hires out snorkel masks fins and life jackets at very reasonable rates. My room was big, with a balcony facing the sea. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. There were plenty of sunbeds outside so you could move around to sit in the sun or shade. You could see the sun setting over the mountain which was lovely. The staff were all very friendly.
There was some road noise particularly from the motorbikes but it didn't go on all night and it was often drowned out by the crashing waves.

Location, snorkeling straight out front, staff, breakfast was great. Food in general good.
Check in was delayed till 4pm.
Be aware is on a noisy corner,bring ear plugs if light sleeper.

Nice decent portions and everyone was friendly and helpful. Location is amazing, right on the beach.

Right on the beach. Snorkelling straight out front of the hotel. Great aircon. Property half way along the main road so a nice walk in either direction.
The pool was was out of action the whole time, was cloudy and looked slimey. When we arrived the pool sign said closed for 4 hrs, we stayed 3 days and the sign still said closed for 4 hrs. They charge you $2 for each snorkelling item used, goggles, life jacket, flippers. Unfortunately because of the charge people were using them and then taking them to there room, and because there was limited amount of gear there wasn't enough for others to have a go.
