Watch the sunset at night and the sailboats during the day. The views will take your breath away. This luxury apartment is close to Torre Abbey beach with its excellent restaurants and cafés below. There is free on street parking if you are driving and it is a 15 minutes walk from the train station.

Amazing view but otherwise left much to be desired. There are about 20 steep steps with narrow treads down to the apartment. Carrying luggage up and down was very challenging particularly as Torquay is not the kind of resort that attracts younger guests. Street parking is a lottery with not sufficient spaces for the large number of apartments. After circling for over half an hour we eventually had no option other than park illegally.Communication with the host was excellent until I pointed out some dangerous trip hazards in the apartment and then they ceased. We had been advised that half the toilet flush was broken but the half that did work was very difficult to operate. One of the shelves in the fridge door was broken and missing, there was dust in the bathtub and the kitchen needed a much better clean. Despite the wonderful view we would not have booked had more details been made available on the site.
