We absolutely loved our stay in this little house in Serifos. Pure serenity of the place made it so special. It feels wonderfully remote and peaceful, with the sense that you’re almost alone in the landscape, surrounded by dry hills, sea and sky, with very little to interrupt the silence. It’s the kind of place that immediately slows you down.
The house itself is a beautifully reformed traditional “cell,” with an unusual and very clever arrangement of space that we really loved. The design is simple, warm and incredibly thoughtful, with a real attention to detail throughout. Everything feels high quality, from the interiors and outdoor spaces to the smaller touches like the soaps, ceramic plates and linen, which smelled amazing. It all feels very considered without ever being overdone - perfect warm minimalism.
The views are spectacular, especially in the morning and around sunset, and the outdoor spaces are perfect for just sitting, reading and doing very little. There is also an absolutely beautiful beach about a 10-minute walk downhill, with turquoise, crystal-clear water, not crowded at all.
But most importantly: Vicky was so wonderful and helped us a lot with getting around and finding our way, which made everything feel easy and welcoming. We also became very fond of the cute local cats wandering around the house and keeping us company.

What an incredible place. The location is a little more remote, so having a car is essential, but the panoramic views make it more than worthwhile.
The property has been beautifully restored while preserving the original footprint of the traditional shepherds' cells, making it completely unique. Each room is separate and opens directly onto the terrace, adding to the charm and sense of privacy.
The finish throughout is of an exceptionally high standard. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped, the bed is wonderfully comfortable, and the shower is excellent. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it a truly special place to stay.
Nothing. Initially, I thought the separate, non-connecting rooms might be a drawback, but we quickly adapted and it became one of the property's most distinctive features. It adds to the authenticity of the original shepherds' cells and makes the space feel even more unique.
