1926 Les Bains Boutique Private Spa Suites

Stunning hotel and wonderful staff. We had a room with a private pool which was very unique and a lovely feature to have on a hot summers day. Rooms were very modern and spacious and lots of premium touches everywhere. Would highly reccommend.

The beach club specified private access for hotel (les bains, not the sister le soleil hotel) guests but this was not the case and was not enforced.

It was a lovely addition having the sauna in the room as the weather was mixed while we were there. The staff were friendly however, it was noted the use of their personal phones was common. Including having a FaceTime call while at the bar as we walked to our room. We just felt this was slightly unprofessional given the status they want their hotel to be at. Location was good. We never got to experience the beach club as it was closed for season. It looked like a great location when we passed. Probably fabulous in the summer. The Rooftop pool was very nice, pictures included.

The breakfast at the sister hotel wasn’t great. Six bites of fruit between two, one omelette fell to slush when cut, and the “champagne” never appeared despite ordering it off the included menu. Staff had to be reminded repeatedly to bring what we had ordered. Paying extra for a standard English breakfast at €22 per person felt absurd, especially when there was a buffet downstairs where you could have all you could eat. The spa baths were lovely, but prices doubled mid-stay. The one-hour offer at €20 per person was replaced with €40 for 90 minutes. We were lucky to get the original price and enjoyed our time, but an hour felt more than enough. The hotel prioritises looks over substance. A staircase leads nowhere, the “champagne bar” is just a cramped lobby, and the app wasn’t great as we ended up calling reception anyway. The room was gorgeous but far from soundproof. Street noise, construction, and roaming staff disturbed any notion of rest. Overall, this hotel looks the part but falls well short in experience. For the price, it simply doesn’t deliver what it promises.
