The property was spacious unique and modern and close to KIVIK downtown.

While the property was really good. There are several things that would make it better. There are no trash cans throughout the house other than in the kitchen. Having trash cans in bathrooms would be especially helpful. There were no bedside tables in any of the bedrooms. The host asked how many guests in the 3 bedroom unit so they could account for sheets. I replied 2 guests and it was assumed that that was 2 guests in the same bedroom so only one bedroom of the 3 had sheets on the bed with no extra bedding available at all. There were only two towels in the unit and they were hanging on a hook in the downstairs bathroom. They were “hard” and we didn’t know if they were clean or dirty. Two towels in a 3 bedroom unit is unacceptable. We had to call to ask for WiFi connection; could have easily had a folder or printout with instructions so we didn’t have to make a phone call. There was a dirty sheet pan in the oven with charred parchment paper, so obviously not cleaned. There was rotting garlic in one cabinet, which again made me think that the cleaning ahead of our arrival was not thorough. There place itself was lovely, but the host needs to pay attention to some details and this would be an excellent rental. There were also no garbage bags in the unit, so there was really no good place for rubbish. There is a coffee maker but no coffee, which would have been nice to know before arriving. There were 5-6 empty shampoo / soap bottles on ledge in upstairs bathroom as well as a used toothbruch; again, it made me think that the unit was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival.

Härligt att bo i ett modernt och fräscht hus. Fin inhägnad altan och liten trädgård som lätt kunde hundsäkras med några få kompostgaller. Bonus för den fina utsikten mot havet från ovanvåningen! Lugnt område runt omkring med fina hus och äppelodlingar.

Möjligen att det låg på ”fel” sidan om genomfartsvägen. Dock bara en kort promenad ner till byn.

Kivikshusen ist ein sehr schönes, modernes und gemütliches Holzhaus mit großen hellen Räumen. Es bietet mit den vier Schlafzimmern und dem großen Wohn- / Essbereich ausreichend Platz für Familien / Freundesgruppen. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Vor allem der Blick bis aufs Meer von einigen Räumen ist beeindruckend.
