Designer property, unique architecture and materials.
Everything in the hotel as a designer vibe to it, sometimes one longs for a bit more warmth than concrete and steel, the shades of pink everywhere help offset the industrial design - exposed ducting, plumbing, all painted black against pink beautifully form finished concrete - Barbie in a factory :-)
In the Room - not very spacious, designed for business efficiency, not particularly great for families. The mirrors in the bathroom and the main room are almost unusable - due to inadequate lighting facing the user.
1. Pathetic restaurant, INR 250+ GST for a breakfast of two miserable dosas, a very sad omlette and a small cup of tea. Outrageous!!
2. Check out experience was also pathetic, the front desk staff (during our checkout) are not trained to deliver a boutique hotel experience.
3. Also security guards are not trained either, overall lack of training, lack of customer orientation and just not even understanding the boutique hotel experience are the main reasons for such a low score for an excellent property.
Sad to see such a nice property that could offer a very different and upscale experience in a city like Kollam, is let down by simple easy to fix issues.
