Location, cleanliness, kitchen was EXTREMELY well equipped, and staff responds to email questions very quickly. Beautifully decorated - incredibly warm and inviting. Truly loved the Hicks House! Would definitely return.
No dislikes, only suggestions.
Sleeps 6 adults, but living room only comfortably seats 4-5. Also, maybe consider an additional side table for beverages.
The dining room table also only comfortably seats 4-5 adults, suggest a second chair to comfortably enjoy meals together.
Suggest 2 additional keys if 3 couples are traveling together.
An exterior light would be helpful for evening arrivals.
Also suggest more mirrors; a full length in each bedroom would be helpful.
Add hooks to hangup wet towels.
We couldn't find directions for the washing machine.

Charming place to stay. We always managed to find parking nearby. But not necessarily in front of the house. A little tricky to find the exact location because homes aren't numbered, but are instead identified by a plaque stating it's "name". Which is one of the idiosyncrasies of the village life. And opening the front door was like solving a puzzle. The beds were pretty comfortable, the place was clean and had everything we needed. Groceries and restaurants just a short walk away. We'd stay there again!

This is an exceptional property right in the heart of beautiful Chipping Campden, the location is excellent. The property is absolutely charming, well maintained, well set up with everything you need for a fabulous stay. It's lovely. I have already recommended this property to three friends who are planning a visit.
My only comment would be is that the lounge needs two more soft chairs, all 6 guests expect to be able to sit in comfortable lounge chairs and that's simply not possible here with a two seater couch and 2 chairs - two of us sat on the floor. The only other chairs available are two outdoor chairs (wet as it was raining) or one small chair in the dining room. Given the exceptional standard of the property addressing this would honestly make it faultless.
