The family is amazing. Great food, amazing hospitality, comfortable rooms and very attentive to any needs and requirements.
There are no heaters in the rooms, so it can get a little cold.

Great location to stay overnight before visiting Pallay Punchu (recommend leaving early so you arrive at the trailhead before 8am if you want to beat the tour groups from Cusco). The lodge is about 1 hour walk from Layo or you could drive. Tasty dinner for S25 and breakfast included in price of the room. Room was modern, very clean and comfortable.
Only the first shower was hot then the water was cold.

There is a dirt road to get to this property and as we pulled up we were greeted with the most amazing sunset and the friendliest staff - unfortunately our Spanish is bad but the lady there was able to call someone who spoke English to get us all the details - The location was perfect for the Pallay rainbow mountains ! Breakfast was great and we got lots of fruit , bread , juice , coffee and eggs !! The beds were covered with lots of blankets and were warm which is always a worry in the Peru mountains at night ! 1 of the 2 of us got a hot shower and then the water wouldn’t go hot again but that seems to be often the case in Peru and not necessarily the property’s fault !! Would highly recommend this stay !!
