Excellent location and everything we needed for a fire and BBQ.
Noting quite like looking at the stars at night in the countryside by the firepit.
The facilities need an update and hasn't had due care and attention. The main concern was the Wasps.
- Bench in Shepards hut was broken
- Wooden deckchair was broken
- Door to hut had dropped which means we couldn't lock the hut
Numerous wasps were scratching at the door all day,meaning we were unable to leave the door and windows open, which was difficult in the heat, and quite scary going near them.
- The light in the toilet failed.
We mentioned these to the owner who said they would fix it after we leave rather than sadly offer during our stay and no apology was given.
