Roomy, high ceilinged basement suite - likely to be rented on a long term at some point I feel - bright (almost too bright) and roomy and comfortable. it's quite deep down under another townhouse/house but because the ceilings are so high, it doesn't feel like a basement except for not realllly being able to see the sky from the deep windows. but roomy for one, likely comfortable for two - a third person or small ones could easily be accommodated although there's only one bathroom. kitchen is equipped more or less and there's a big fridge and dishwasher
the location is a bit squirrelly GPS/Mapping was a must (and this operator attempted to follow his nose out - bad move!) - parking on the street a bit premium, but available - you enter along the side of the house (stone pathway), through a gate and down down stairs... there are basically two light positions - ON or off. but it was comfortable for the price

Good location, private entrance, large suite
Very messy over all, no real effort in cleaning up after the previous tenants. Kitchen Countertops were filthy, grease running down the wall behind the stove, 1 fork, a few serving spoons, 1 pan, totally no what I expected, we could hardly cook a meal. bathroom was filthy ( pee on toilets, mirror had toothpaste splattered). Heat was so erratic it only worked when turned to 25 C.
