The staff is a bit too helpful. I guess that is the Indian hospitality, but I don't remember any other hotel in my life, where the staff would knock on my door a few times per day to ask me if I need something. And yes, those were usually valid questions, but my preference is towards peace and privacy, while all that getting up and dressing to open the door and respond was just tiring.

Un personnel bienveillant, respectueux et aux petits soins
Le petit déjeuner qui se prends dans 1 autre hôtel. Ce n’est pas le fait de se déplacer mais ce qui est proposé n’est pas à la hauteur du standing de l’établissement et le personnel là bas n’est pas avenant. On a une jolie vue pour petit déjeuner mais ça s’arrête là.

The room itself was very spacious with a good shower and balcony overlooking the lake and busy road below. The staff were very responsive when we complained about the cleanliness.
The bedsheets were stained we arrived so we asked the staff to change them.
The location is good if you want to be in the centre of the old town but of course with that comes a lot of noise. It is important to note that there is no car access most of the day to the front of the hotel so you need to walk through a very busy street for about 5 minutes.
There is no restaurant on site and you have to walk about 5 mins to a sister hotel. The breakfast there was average but it was served on the rooftop and had a good view.
The hotel only has about 5 rooms , one on each floor. Also despite having 2 air con machines and a fan the room felt very warm.
Overall this is not a luxury hotel and we did stay in better accommodation in India that was cheaper.
