Location was perfect. Quiet and restful. Beautiful country outlook. Comfortable, clean, tidy, homely environment. Great to be able to take our little dog. One night was not long enough. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay. Would definitely recommend. ๐
Only thing to be mindful of is the fencing for small dogs like ours who looks for every chance to escape. This is not a dislike just an awareness. The TV continually glitched...impossible to watch but maybe this was a one-off. Didn't matter but again just an awareness. ๐

Lovely country setting with friendly horses. Great sunset views. Nice big windows looking out across the garden and beyond.
The weather was quite hot but we were unable to open any windows due to the insects and no fly screens on windows or sliding doors (like most places in NZ), so had to use air con overnight to try to cool bedrooms enough to sleep.
