Don't book this place if you want your sanity!
This entire booking was an awful experience. After booking on booking.com, I was sent an email to pay through a different website or else my booking would be canceled in 24hours. I couldn't find any information about the other website, if it was real or not. I finally paid, so I wouldn't lose the booking. After I was sent an email to send a bank transfer to someone named Valeria, for an amount over the price I was told on booking.com. I refused to send a transfer and was offered to pay on PayPal, I sent the amount I was told, she asked me to send more because she had to pay a fee, which was on her end, not mine. The communication from the apartment was extremely poor. Valeria only contacted me when she was asking for more money. I sent emails, messages on booking.com, and Whatsapp, and she would not respond, only responded to ask for more money. I refused to send it until she answered my one question.
The apartment itself was not great. The a/c didn't work, the wifi didn't work, the hot water didn't work. We opened the windows for some air and there was a drum circle and people smoking in the enclosed space outside. The whole apartment smelled like smoke and was terribly hot. We couldn't get the door open with the key and Valeria never responded to my pleas for help. I still haven't heard from her, she never checked in to see if we made it into the terrible apartment. The floors were dirty, but the rest was decently clean. I would NEVER book this place again. She should not be allowed to use booking.com as a platform, especially having to pay through another third party.
