The keys were in an easily accessible lockbox right next to the door, and the host sent pictures of the door and lockbox ahead of time in addition to an address, so the place was easy to find. There were cleaners who showed up right before we arrived, so the place was very clean as well. Very importantly the host allowed us to leave our bags at the apartment a few hours before check-in which was super helpful to allow us to spend the day walking around.
Lack of blankets. In an apartment that advertises having a double bed and a pull-out couch, it was massively disappointing to find not a single blanket in the apartment when we were ready to go to sleep. We (2 people) had to make do with a single sheet and a bed cover (the kind that goes decoratively at the foot of the bed). The lack of a single blanket really ruined the stay for us and lowered our rating of the place from 9-10 to 5.
