Unsafe, unclean and materially not as described

Very spacious, great location. Train noise were not an issue. Modern kitchen. Large dining/entertainment space.

. This property was extremely disappointing and, in our view, unsuitable for guests. The problems extended throughout the property and involved safety, hygiene, cleanliness and maintenance. There were electrical wires protruding from the ceiling in several places in the main living area, as well as unfinished electrical boxes on the landing. The loft was unfinished and exposed, with visible timber and stored building materials. Hygiene was also a serious concern. Several mattresses were heavily stained and had no mattress protectors. The bathroom had extensive mould on the ceiling, tiles and grout. The shower drain was heavily contaminated with hair, dirt and sludge, with dirty standing water unable to drain properly. The shower sealant was also mouldy and dirty. The property had clearly not been adequately cleaned before our arrival. We found food wrappers beside a bed, dirt, hair, dust and a used cotton bud under another bed. The fridge had not been cleaned and kitchen cupboards contained crumbs from previous guests. Outside, the patio had loose, cracked and uneven slabs with weeds throughout, creating a potential trip hazard. We raised these issues with the owners and ultimately had to involve Booking.com. We left the property as soon as we were able to secure a refund. The owner's final message was: "Please leave my property immediately, you are no longer welcome." The property was materially not as described, unsafe in several respects and unclean. We have photographs documenting the conditions and would strongly advise prospective guests to consider these issues carefully before booking.

De bovenverdieping was erg warm Het beddegoed was smoezelig en er waren zeeeer veeeel muggen en ander ongedierte/ grote fladderende nachtvlinder Ook stond het huis vd eigenaars op hetzelfde terrein waardoor het gevoel van privacy minder was
