The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. When I raised concerns, I was offered a different room, which I appreciated. The beds were clean, and the service was generally good.
It is not clearly stated on Booking.com that Hotel Moon is a love motel, meaning that rooms are rented not only for overnight stays but also by the hour, primarily for couples seeking privacy. This is important information that should be made clear before booking, especially for guests planning a longer stay.
The hotel is extremely noisy, with very poor soundproofing. Guests come and go at all hours of the day and night, and sounds from other rooms and the corridors can be heard very clearly. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, I would strongly advise against staying here.
The overall cleanliness was disappointing, although the beds were clean. Despite the hotel being advertised as non-smoking, cigarette smoke entered my room through the ventilation system.
After complaining, I was offered another room, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience was disappointing. While the hotel may serve its purpose for short, hourly stays, I would not recommend it for a longer holiday or for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay.
