The apartment was bright, modern and well presented with everything needed for a good value short break and was ideally located in the town centre and walking distance from places of interest and good restaurants.
The entry at the back of the shops was a little bit unwelcoming and dark , especially returning late in the evening and parking to unload can be tricky if you can't get a parking space in the market car park (market day on Saturday means half the car park is coned off from Friday night). We did have to unblock the bathroom sink with some boiling water as it barely drained, and the sponge left in the kitchen was not a clean, new one.

The apartment was self catering and within a 5 minute walk of a Sainsbury's and a Morrison's. So, that was very convenient.
The apartment was also a 5 minute walk from the Pavilion gardens, the opera house and the tourist information office. The location was very central and also ideal from the transport point of view. The Market Place was just round the corner, so local bus services were pretty well on the doorstep. The railway station was about a 10 minute walk away.
The apartment was clean and modern with 3 spacious rooms (double bedroom, shower room and living/dining room). There was Wi-Fi and a large television. All the facilities were excellent and the apartment was quiet and restful. Highly recommended.
There were no problems with the apartment. Access was via a flight of about 12 stairs so someone with very limited mobility might find that problematic. Otherwise everything was fine.
