The location was great, so close to the places we needed to get to.
The inside of the house was warm and bright. It was really handy to have two bathrooms and toilets.
Sky was an added bonus.
As there were lots of stray cats around, the strong scent of cat urine discouraged us from opening windows and using the outdoor area.

Everything you require, lots of written instructions/signs so owner did not have to be there, spacious, close to lake, communications with owner great, very environmentally aware 😊
Vehicle gate needs to be fixed but we were able to manoeuvre it to work.

Location was prime. Space is plentiful for 3 adults. Having 2 bathrooms really helped a lot. And the view in the morning, sunrise was really beautiful. Host was more than happy to supply good amount of milk for cuppa. Heaters were a must and appreciated.
Only a couple of things let me down. I knew cats were around on the premises so I was expecting a smell. Maybe give the back door a gurney or clean before guests arrive to be rid of the strong urine smell. There is plenty of cleaning products there also to be used, Although I did use them but normally on departure not on arrival. Check dryer lint too before new guests come. It’s a home away from home, cleaning included.
