After almost 4 weeks in SA we can say that Sunset was by far the best place we stayed. Our family with 5 slept in the bungalow which was more then comfortable and the second day we had giraffes in our backyard in the morning. The trips who were arranged (game drives Kruger & Manyeleti and the boat at Blyde river) were beautiful. And last but definitily not least: Vincent & Toni: a very big SO & many thanks!! You both are beautiful persons who gave us a very warm welcome. You did anything to make our stay as nice as it was. I would recommend Sunset to all travellers!

There staff especially a men by the name Trevor
Very sweet.Assisted with everything we needed
Also the staff the is very friendly
The food too was great
Just the place needs proper cleaning
And fixing on the othet sides but besides that the room were clean

Trevor was great, took care of us well. Went above and beyond.
What attracted us to Beach Island was the activities promised about the place because we have a little boy who would have appreciated the activities but nothing was working, no zipline, go carting, canoeing,etc nothing as a result my nephew was bored, ended up having to give him the laptop so he is entertained.
The place needs a revamp especially the restaurant, playground. The vision is clear and surely used to be a great place but it's not anymore
