Quinta do Pinheiro

Adorei o sítio, a tranquilidade e o bom gosto em tudo: o trabalho da recuperação da quinta, a decoração das casas, e especialmente também dos arranjos exteriores, da vegetação e dos tanques transformados em piscinas. Adorámos a estadia!

The decor and the scents used in the rooms/laundry are perfection! I felt like I was in Architectural Digest.

This is a very special property - a grouping of small houses each with their own kitchens which were very well stocked for cooking. Breakfast was provided with fresh fruits, hard boiled eggs, bread, meats, juice and homemade cakes. The staff were exceptional - so friendly and helpful. It was immaculately clean and we never even noticed the housekeeping staff coming in! The property is very peaceful with loungers under the olive trees and a beautiful pool to share with the guests of the other houses. The location was excellent - very quiet but close to many beaches and restaurants. The property also arranged for a fantastic chef, Sandra, to cook for us one evening and we loved that experience and her delicious cooking! We rented bicycles and there are lots of bike paths you can easily reach from the property for some nice rides. They also arranged a great masseuse to come give us massages in the pilates/yoga studio which was a great way to kick off the holiday! The bedrooms in our house (Casa Avo) each had their own bathroom and the beds were really comfy. All the rooms had A/C. Lovely pillows, towels for the beach, plush terry bathrobes and gorgeous plates/china in the kitchen. Really elevated the stay!

Understandably, the property is in nature so bugs are to be expected, but we were bothered by lots of wasps so we couldn't eat breakfast outside on our lovely table. There were also lots of small ants in the kitchen at all times no matter how clean it was kept. Hopefully some natural solution can be found as it would be a shame to use pesticides! Even with these issues, I'd highly recommend the property and would certainly come back!

Todo el hotel es encanto, tranquilidad, descanso y paz. Creo que es la primera vez que doy un 10. Enhorabuena al equipo y a los fundadores de este pequeño paraíso en el Algarve.

Lo único que no me gusta es tener que darle publicidad a un sitio que me gustaría que fuera mi secreto ;) pero bueno, al César lo que es del César
