What a lovely cabin! The hosts Amelia and John must be artists, it's so beautiful and cozy! It's just like the photos. Besides the aesthetics, the place is well maintained and clean. The bed is so soft, I loved writing in bed while it was raining outside.
I arrived at Glastonbury in the morning, Amelia and John were very kind to hold my luggage before check in time. The location is super convenient, 3-5 minutes walk to High Street, 15-20 minutes walk to the Chalice Well Gardens/Tor entrance/White Springs, the bus stop is about 5 minutes away. There's a Morrisons around the corner, and many nice restaurants! If you're vegan/vegetarian you'll find the town to be very veggie friendly :)
You might meet the friendly neighborhood cat, Bumble. This whole trip was magical, thank you Amelia and John!

Superbly decorated and magical little bolt hole 2 minutes to the main high street.
There is everything you need for your stay, the bed is super comforatble, the cabin is clean and there is also a great little private garden space tucked away behind the cabin.
Amelia and John are great hosts-we had a small issue on our second day and it was dealt with very promptly and without fuss. Couldn't recommend the Avaloj retreat more highly :-)

So much thought has gone into this little retreat with everything you could possibly need being provided. The hosts were really lovely and very welcoming. Once we were greeted we were left to do our own thing for the whole stay, which was absolutely perfect.
There was access to a private little outside seating area which was really lovely.
The location was perfect as it is less than 5 minute walk to the town centre.
We will definitely be returning and can highly recommend this beautiful little retreat.

My stay was excellent! The place had everything I needed for a few days, including a small kitchen. The place was actually cool during the hot days and the bed was really comfortable. Quiet place and 5 min from the high street. The hosts were super responsive to my questions and i'd stay here again.
