Spacious place very close to upper falls. What I enjoyed most about this place was the family. They are very hospitable, kind, and willing to make your stay with them adventurous. I am a solo traveler so I got to explore with the older son on the motorbike most of the days I stayed there. He took me to some really special places. If you want a real Sri Lankan experience, I recommend staying with this family. I spent 15 days in Sri Lanka, 2 days were with this family. Those 2 days I will hold close to my heart probably for the rest of my life.
A few things to point out that might not be obvious
- they charge for lunch and dinner. They prices are not listed in the menu. So just be careful. And the pictures in the menu do not reflect what the mother cooks. I enjoyed the Sri lankin dishes she cooked.
- the house is in the middle of the mountain, so there are bugs.
If you’re familiar to traveling outside of resorts, boutique hotels and the suburbs it shouldn’t be an issue.

Las vistas espectaculares del Valle de Diyaluma. Las cataratas más grandes de Sri Lanka justo al lado. La familia encantadora y la cocina buenísima. Estábamos de luna de miel y nos regalaron una foto enmarcada al final de la estancia con un coláge de nuestras fotos allí.

Lage: Direkt am Zugang zu den Upper Diyaluma Falls (20 Minuten zu Fuß mit guten Schuhen). Wie haben den Sohn der Familie als guide gemietet da wir wissen wollten, wo man am besten die Wasserfallsprünge und Wasserfallrutschen macht (jumping area auf google maps), und kein Risio eingehen wollten. Unterkunft liegt an einem Hang mit Blick auf endlose Wälder aus dem kleinen, sauberen Pool: Spektalulär!
Die Unterkunft wird von einer Familie geführt. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Die Familie hat es geschafft zugewandt zu sein und gleichzeitig unsere Privatsphäre zu respektieren.
Wir hatten leckeres Sri Lankesisches Frühstück.

Super amables y atentos. Puedes ir andando a la cascada que está solo a 20 min! La cena y el desayuno son muy buenos! La piscina es un extra que se agradece! Tienes unas vistas geniales!
