Bastide Saint-Honorat

This hotel is WONDERFUL! Beautiful location, wonderfully decorated and the owner/host, Cecile, is fabulously welcoming. The rooms are stunning - large, elegantly decorated, very clean, with very comfortable bed + great, quiet aircon, and great views too. There are just 5 rooms at the hotel so it's very quiet and friendly. The breakfast terrace is heavenly - what a view! And the pool is great, with plenty of comfortable loungers and umbrellas for shade as you look over the valley. While there is no restaurant (although you can book a private chef in advance), breakfast is delicious and plentiful. And there is a good selection of wines, beers and soft drinks to purchase. Cecile helpfully recommended a nearby village, Mougins, to visit for dinner one evening, which was just what we wanted. The hotel is up a very narrow, bending drive but you can always park at the bottom if you're not a confident driver. We were able to get Ubers very quickly and easily at any time - within 5 minutes each time so you can go out for dinner or for trips to nearby villages or sites with ease (they will only come to the gate at the bottom of the drive, just a 3 minute walk). All in all, the hotel was just a wonderful, restful place to take a few days' break. It was like renting a private villa but with a friendly host. We felt very welcome and will definitely return.

It would be great if the hotel had a restaurant to serve lunch and dinner but it would be a different place - and it's easy to get ubers and travel just 15 minutes to local restaurants so it's not really a problem.

The views were stunning and the pool was fantastic. Rooms were individual chalets and delightfully decorated.

The driveway up to the bastide was very narrow and extremely tight. Took a 10 point turn to turn round. But you can park at the bottom of the road and walk up

Ein magischer Ort mit traumhaftem Blick! Das Hotel hat nur 5 Zimmer und jedes Zimmer ist individuell und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Unsere Gastgeberin Cecilie hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und hat uns jeden Morgen ein liebevolles Frühstück bereitet. Es war einfach traumhaft schön. Die Anlage ist neu renoviert, der Pool ist groß und der Ausblick aus den Zimmern und vom Pool ist wunderbar! Wir kommen wieder :-)
