I had a pleasant stay at Awadh Palace located on the Mall Road in Shimla. The biggest highlight is its prime location, which makes it very convenient to explore nearby attractions, cafes, and shopping areas on foot. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and offered a comfortable stay with a nice view of the hills.

Location was good.
The rooms opened out into the reception area which was very noisy with lots of shouting / arguing and phones being played/watched etc. it was not relaxing and impossible to sleep.
It was more of a bedsit set up.
My room had no window also.
