We really loved our stay here! The rooms were spacious, the pool was amazing, and the owner was incredibly generous and kind to us. We enjoyed our stay so much that we even rebooked this place.
The surroundings are lush, green, and peaceful, with beautiful nature all around. There were no constructions or other disturbances that could negatively affect our stay. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful villa. It is very new, spotlessly clean, spacious, and well equipped. The inner courtyard is lovely, and the peaceful location surrounded by nature is perfect for relaxing. At the same time, Ubud center is still easy to reach by scooter.
The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always easy to contact. We also learned a lot from them about Balinese culture and traditions, which made our stay even more special.
Everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again.

Quiet Location and Wonderful Hospitality – Great Value for Money
We had a very pleasant stay at Maha gunung Ubud Villa and were impressed by the warm hospitality and excellent value for money.
The location is both a strength and a weakness, depending on what you are looking for. The villa is about 10 minutes away from the centre of Ubud, in a very quiet area away from the noise and busy streets. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and found it a great place to relax and escape from the crowds.
However, because of its quiet and slightly secluded location, there are no restaurants, shops or convenience stores within easy walking distance. We needed to use Grab motorcycle rides whenever we wanted to go into Ubud for meals or to buy food and drinks. Fortunately, Grab motorcycles are very inexpensive in Bali, and getting to and from central Ubud was easy and convenient, so this was not a major problem for us.
What really made our stay special was the hospitality of the owners. The villa is personally managed by the owner and his mother, and both of them were exceptionally kind and welcoming. When we arrived, his mother kindly welcomed us with fresh coconut drinks, which was a lovely touch. Throughout our stay, both the owner and his mother were always friendly, helpful and attentive.
Overall, we would highly recommend Maha gunung Ubud Villa to travellers who prefer a peaceful and relaxing stay rather than being right in the middle of Ubud's busy centre. If you don't mind using a Grab or scooter to get around, this is a very comfortable and excellent-value accommodation.
A wonderful place for a quiet holiday, with genuinely warm and personal hospitality.
The only minor issue was that the toilet was a little loose and wobbled when used. It would be great if this could be fixed.

Super quiet and away from all the Ubud noise and traffic. Easy access and a quick scooter ride with the Grab ride app. Beautiful helpful and friendly family. Had a big stain on some shorts and they took them to the cleaners right away.
