Secretum Pompeii House is a new, fresh and modern accommodation in a quiet neighbourhood just outside the city centre. Pompei train station and the city centre are both within a 10-minute walk, and the modern shopping centre on the other side is also only about 10 minutes away on foot.
We stayed at the front of the complex in the blue-and-white apartment. The apartment was extremely clean and tidy, with a great shower and air conditioning in both rooms. We also had a small seating area right outside our door. We were able to park our car for free at the back of the property, and free parking is also available on the street.
Although the neighbourhood initially seemed a little unsafe to us compared to what we are used to in the Netherlands, it actually felt very safe. In the evenings, neighbours sit outside enjoying themselves and people live with their doors open, which gives the area a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The hosts are wonderful too. We were welcomed by Elena’s husband, who is a genuinely friendly and likeable guy. Elena always responds very quickly to messages.
It’s a matter of personal preference, of course, but we stayed in three different places in Italy during this trip and found the beds to be quite hard everywhere. The bed here is also firm, but the pillows are nice and supportive, so we didn’t experience any back or neck pain.

L appartement est tres propre, fonctionnel et decoré avec goût.
L emplacement est idéal : situé dans une petite rue, proche de la gare de pompeï (600 m) (mais sans les inconvénients du bruit) très pratique pour visiter Naples, d un centre commercial (700 m ) et également du centre ville et du centre historique. Il y a également un place pour garer la voiture autre que dans la rue.
Elena et Nadia sont très gentille et très a l écoute des besoins.
Nous avons passé un agréable sejour. Nous recommandons cette adresse.
