The beds were big and comfortable. We had a good sized room with plenty of space. The breakfast was plentiful and good. We are both vegetarian and they were able to accommodate our food preferences.

It is about an hour and a half drive from the airport. The location is isolated, but you have interesting wetlands very near so plenty of birds to see. For the price, the place is very nice with large rooms overlooking the garden and pool, which is lovely. Breakfast was OK, the Sri Lankan being much better than their take on an English breakfast. Meals, again, were OK, but a bit too international for us.
The owner spoke good English and could not have been more helpful. The rest of the staff had limited English, but were always there to help.

Location excellent for bird sanctuary, 30 min walk. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Good value. Helped us order tuktuk
