Around 10 minutes away is a country estate with over 2000 acres to explore. With over 5000 tree species and a walled garden, simply magical.

Colchester, Britain’s oldest recorded town, has a castle, museums, art gallery, many Roman remains, a good shopping centre & Colchester Zoo. Stansted Airport is 19 miles away. The thriving medieval market town of Saffron Walden, 26 miles, offers boutiques, galleries and plenty of eateries to enjoy. There is a sandy beach at Maldon, one of Essex’s lesser-known beaches, within a 30-minute drive. The traditional seaside towns of Southend-on-Sea and Clacton-on-Sea offer an array of attractions and are under an hours’ drive.
