We all felt very comfortable staying at The Stables on the farm. The accommodation was lovely, the conversions done very well. We had clean, comfortable beds.We had a big shower, with hot water. We loved the barn area, with the hot tub, the projector, and darts. We sat out and ate in there. We enjoyed using the lovely stone bbq. We liked finding original features around the farm. Our dog had loved walking the open fields behind us. The farm animals kept us entertained .. the geese especially liked chatting to us! We did all relax as we needed to. We visited surrounding areas that were easy to get to.
We found the bedrooms really hot at night. Although we kept the windows & doors open for as long as we could, we then had to negotiate with the mosquitoes through the night! We could have come more prepared for this ourselves, as we did all get bitten. We couldn't find a cork screw or a bottle opener. We would of liked a new wire brush to have been able to clean the bbq after use.

An unusual setting - I loved being so near the horses. We could hear them in their stables at night. A very creative way of utilising old farm buildings. Very clean inside and the selection of snacks were nice. Well equipped.
The bed was a sofa bed rather than a proper bed and I wasn’t keen on sleeping right next to a wall. I wish we had booked the property with the hot tub in retrospect.

Very quaint and ultimately a lovely place
Sadly through no fault of anyone’s there had been a power cut earlier in the week on run up to our stay and some electrical items weren’t working to their full potential. Also the water pressure was lacking in the kitchen area. There wasn’t any hot water for our weekend stay. We were offered a cancellation option at short notice but as we were unable due to a family 40th in the area. Questioned if a small refund could have been offered for a gesture of good will but no response, which was a tad disappointing. For me I would have absolutely offered some kind of gesture of good will.
