I loved the location in the Old Bazaar and the character of the older building, with its wooden furnishings that suited the setting perfectly. The apartment had everything I really needed for my 10-day stay, including a fridge and a smart TV, which was great for watching YouTube when I wanted some downtime. Tarik was a really helpful and friendly host and, as a woman travelling alone, I particularly appreciated feeling well looked after without being fussed over. He even found me a kettle when I asked — morning coffee in my pyjamas restored! His coffee and smoothie shop downstairs was an added bonus, with a fabulous fresh orange juice smoothie and excellent iced coffee. And picking me up at 2:20am for my airport transfer definitely went above and beyond!
The only thing worth being aware of is that, as this is an older building, there are 12 steps up to the apartment and no handrail. This wasn't a problem for me, but it could be difficult for someone with reduced mobility. There also isn't currently a cooking facility, although having a fridge was very useful during my stay.

Konaklamamızdan çok memnun kaldık. Ev sahibi Tarık son derece ilgili ve misafirperverdi. Kendisine ihtiyaç duyduğumuz her an kolayca ulaşabildik. Bizimle İngilizce sohbet etti, yemek yiyebileceğimiz ve döviz bozdurabileceğimiz yerleri önerdi. Ayrıca kısa bir çarşı turu yaptırarak ülke hakkında faydalı bilgiler paylaştı.
Tesisi, Türk Çarşısı'nın içinde yer alması nedeniyle tercih ettik ve konumu beklentilerimizi fazlasıyla karşıladı. Çarşının tam merkezinde, kaleye ve tarihi camilere yürüme mesafesinde bulunuyor. Buna rağmen bulunduğu sokak oldukça sakindi ve gürültü sorunu yaşamadık. Arkadaşımla birlikte Türk Çarşısı ve Taş Köprü Meydanı'nın yanı sıra alışveriş merkezine, otobüs terminaline ve hayvanat bahçesine de yürüyerek rahatlıkla gidebildik.
Oda fotoğraflarda göründüğü gibiydi; temiz, düzenli ve kullanışlıydı. Televizyon, buzdolabı ve klimanın bulunması bizim için büyük bir avantajdı. İnterneti yoğun kullandık; zaman zaman yavaşladığı oldu ancak genel olarak herhangi bir sorun yaşamadık. Tuvalette taharet musluğunun bulunması da bizim için önemli bir artıydı. Başta garipsediğim tek nokta ise tuvalet kapısının sürgülü olmasıydı; ancak kısa sürede alıştık ve herhangi bir sorun yaşamadık.
Genel olarak hem konumu hem temizliği hem de ev sahibinin ilgisi sayesinde çok keyifli bir konaklama deneyimi yaşadık. Tekrar bu şehre gelirsek gönül rahatlığıyla aynı tesisi tercih edebiliriz.

The apartment is very well located. Really easy to access from the airport. Right next to the bazaar and walking distance from all main sites.
The apartment is simple, clean and with good shower.
One small thing, the shower uses a water heater and you have to wait for the water to heat before a warm shower. Not a big thing just slightly slows you down in the morning.

Tertemiz pırıl pırıl nostaljik bir evde kaldık.
Eski çarşının göbeğinde, Üsküp’ün kalbinde bir eviniz varmış hissi veriyor insana. Büyükannenizin evi gibi🫶🏻
“Üsküp’e gidince mutlaka yapın” denen her şey elinizin altında.
