The view is unreal. Beautiful view across Portmagee Harbour and Valentia Island. You could sit and look at it all day long. The pod was spacious, cosy and well designed. Very warm welcome from our host as well as a supply of breakfast cereals and tea and coffee.
Elements of the accommodation felt less premium. The curtains didn’t draw fully, the bedding was ill fitting. Also there was nowhere to hang anything - just 1 towel hook. There is nowhere to dry wet clothes which is a common necessity in Ireland!! Also given the eco credentials I was surprised that there didn’t seem to be any facilities for recycling.

- What an amazing location with huge views over the water and surrounding hills
- Beautifully constructed and appointed with wonderful beds, comfortable and snug, sparklingly clean
- The morning starters of cereal, milk and yogurt were extremely welcoming, especially the assistance with access to gluten free options - thank you
