The cottage was perfect for what we needed. I found it particularly helpful that it was all on one level with a wet room due to having mobility difficulties.
The kitchen was well equipped and there was a good selection of games and DVDs which we enjoyed.
The cottage is close to the main shop, cafe and a pub and there is also accessible parking for blue badge holders outside the cottage which we found really useful (it's a first come first serve type arrangement so not guaranteed). At times we couldn't park outside, the parking permit was brilliant for the car park at the top of the hill.
I don't often comment on things that are subjective (for the reason that everyone likes something different) however, the mattresses on the beds were very very soft which we found not very comfortable. The second double bed is a small double but the mattress was slightly better than the bigger double room.
The cottage was perfect for us as a family of 5 (2 adults with 3 children) but I think any more than four adults might find it small.

Car parking permit was very well appreciated. Spacious.
The TV was an old style (not a smart tv) which meant no access to streaming services. A Smart TV would be an excellent addition for those days/nights when the weather is poor or families want a bit of a slow day in the cottage and village. The main sofa was very old and worn.

Location was great. Cottage was well equipped and accessible as was all 9n one level which was great for my disabled 88 yr old Mum.
A minor nighle but rhe bed in the main bedroom was really too soft for us and I found it really hard to sleep well in it.
