It was clean and new.
I asked well in advance here on booking.com whether it was possible to have two rooms near each other as we were traveling with teenagers. The hotel replied “OK” but when we called before arrival they announced the rooms were on different floors. They explained it was full and impossible to place us close enough. By then we had no choice and they just didn’t really care about the fact they promised me to put us together before.

Location, friendly and super helpful staff, very nice recently built cottages with new furniture. Dog friendly
Our cottage was not cleaned properly, our puppy constantly brought from somewhere some items left by other people. No daily cleaning - stayed there for 2 nights, but no one came to clean up the rooms and waste. I am sure, the staff would clean if we asked, but these things should be done automatically. Lack of plates and cups in the cottage - but were brought by the staff once we asked for
