I extended my trip from 3 days to 2 weeks. It's all because of the hosts. Beautiful family! So understanding, kind, warm and friendly. I have been in Sri Lanka a little over 3 months and this family were my highlight. I felt safe with them. Anything I needed, they were there without hesitation. They are the most genuine people I met in Sri Lanka. There's a beautiful garden to relax in, very private and peaceful. Walking to town takes around 45 minutes, but the family will loan you a bike at a very reasonable price which makes the journey fast and direct. Highly recommend!
This has NOTHING to do with the host family. The neighbours next door have 5 dogs. They are super friendly and lovely! The dogs will destroy anything you leave outside given any opportunity. Do not leave any personal belongings outside unless you are outside too! The dogs are well trained, if you say no, they listen. If you're not there to say no..... It's theirs 😂

Das Aqua Bliss Resort in Bentota ist ein friedliches, umweltfreundliches Refugium in großartiger Lage nahe der Stadt. Umgeben von Natur bietet es eine erholsame Auszeit vom hektischen Alltag. Der Besitzer war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und sorgte dafür, dass alles bestens organisiert war. Der Aufenthalt war komfortabel und den Preis absolut wert. Sehr empfehlenswert für einen ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub.
