Good location. We were staying only for 1 night so it was good to stay at Via Toledo. The 200 euro deposit at checkin was refunded in full to me after 1 week (I paid with debit card) and they told me it could take 4 weeks at that time.
The checkin process was a mess, first it was at a completely separate place than our room and then as they have multiple properties, the girl there explaining things on their website sent to a complete different building which was 30 mins walk from the checkin place and when we reached there, the rooms didn’t have numbers as mentioned in our checkin instructions. When we couldn’t find the room, I tried contacting their emergency number via whatsapp or call them directly at reception but no one answered (clearly they don’t care about emergencies). And then when my partner went back yo ask them, they very casually told him that we are at a wrong building as we selected the wrong number (15) where the receipt mentioned 14. The girl there used my phone to explain the instructions where she selected the options in the online checkin instructions they have and then handed over the phone to me with the directions opened in maps to go to the building. She told us the wrong place but when my partner asked them they blamed it on me as I wasn’t there and they told him it’s our mistake. No acknowledgment, no apology that they messed up but we were the stupid ones going to a different building. The whole process wasted more than 2 hours for us and the building we were staying at was in the complete opposite direction of the first building we went to (45 mins walk).
