Wir mochten den Mix aus alten, stilvollen Möbel und modernem Ambiente. Die Wohnung ist hell und freundlich, es standen mehr als nur die nötigsten Dinge zur Verfügung - angefangen von Geschirr namenhafter Hersteller bis hin zu alkoholischen Getränken. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieter war ausgesprochen freundlich; sie hat stets sehr schnell geantwortet.
An das Knarzen des Bettes und die etwas unkomfortablen Matratzen mussten wir uns etwas gewöhnen.

I really enjoyed staying in this place. The location is perfect - you're right on the town hall square in the middle of Jelenia Gora, and everything is walking distance (even the railway station if you've got 20 minutes or so). It's a self-catering place, and there are several supermarkets quite nearby, just outside the Old Town. One of them, Biedronka, stays open until 11pm.
The owner was very helpful. I communicated with her via WhatsApp, and she seemed genuinely interested in whether or not I had a good stay at the apartment.
I love the furnishings, some of which are clearly antique. There are good cooking appliances and kitchenware, and a fairly spacious and well-appointed bathroom. The balcony is also good, and it's protected by netting so that pigeons don't roost there, which I appreciated. There's even a supply cupboard, with things that really came in handy during my stay (e.g. a drying rack for clothes, detergents and a toolbox).
All together, Neo Retro had the feeling of a 'home away from home'. It was great!
There's really nothing negative about the place, but there are a couple of things to be aware of.
1. It's up six flights of stairs in a building without a lift - so be ready to haul yourself and your luggage up there!
2. The kitchen appliances (including the oven) were made by a company I hadn't heard of before, and I needed some help to understand the symbols on the control surfaces. But the good thing is, if you type the brand name into YouTube, you'll find brief instructional videos which clearly explain what all the symbols mean. After that it's easy. :-)

Квартира находится в самом центре, из окна кухни можно увидеть ратушу. В квартире антикварная мебель - это очень интересно, ходили, рассматривали. Кровати немного провисают, как в детстве у бабушки, но ругать их не буду, потому что спалось на них отлично, вопреки всем опасениям. В квартиру надо подниматься пешком по лестнице - не проблема, но если вы с детьми и колясками, лучше это учесть. Есть балкон, в кухне есть все необходимое, в квартире много приятных мелочей и всяких декоративных элементов. В кухонных шкафах были запасы крупы, макарон, чая, кофе, соли, приправ и прочего (даже просекко)))). Мы не пользовались, но хозяйка сказала, что это все можно было брать. Квартира хорошая, можем рекомендовать.
Весь вечер непрерывно лаяла какая-то соседская собака - судя по голосу, не очень маленькая. Напрягало. Но квартира и ее хозяева в этом не виноваты. Ночью собака молчала немо - устала, наверное))
