The villa was great for 9 of us (3 couples and 3 children) and great value for money. Sunset views from the terrace were the most amazing. The downstairs terrace always had a nice breeze, even in the hottest days. Peter was the most gracious host, giving us great recommendations. The villa is conveniently situated between Chania town and Chania airport, within 3 walking minutes to 2 supermarkets and a great tavern, 2 minutes to a nice cafe and 10 minutes walking to Kalathas beach. It's not easy having all amenities so close together in Crete. The famous beach in Stavros that was in Zorba the Greek is also within walking distance if you like to walk around-4-5 km.
As we learned the hard way, Crete is difficult without a car and taxis are very expensive, but Peter helped us with transport too so we could visit around.

House felt like a home; perfect fit for a group of 6-8 people; unbelievable sunsets

We had fantastic stay. The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and we have everything we needed. Very clean. The wiews were stunning, the location was peaceful, safe, and a host was friendly and responsive. The cristal clear sandy beach was really 7 minutes walking. It was very easy to go there, without car. Very good choice with kids too! We could definitely stay here again and highly recomended it!

We absolutely loved the terrace and the beautiful natural setting around the villa. In the morning, waking up to all the greenery and peaceful views was wonderful, and in the evening the sunset was truly mesmerizing. Sitting outside with a glass of wine and just relaxing was one of the highlights of our stay. The upstairs living room and kitchen area were also very comfortable, spacious, and perfect for spending time together. The location was excellent too — very close to the beach, with a restaurant and market just a few hundred meters away, so everything felt easy and convenient.
Nothing really. Our only wish is that we had stayed another night.
