Lovely apartment; very comfy and very clean. Excellent location 100m from beach, supermarket, town, bus station, and harbour. Nice live local music percolating across from the restaurant opposite in the evening.

These are little bits as I loved the place; so relaxing. The photos on Booking.com are a little misleading as it’s not on the beach and looks out onto the road and buildings opposite. Ironically, it wasn’t easy to find! Not clear at all so I had to phone the host and he came over and guided me. Has a kettle but be nice if it had a few more kitchen facilities; maybe a sandwich toaster.

Nagyon jó helyen van a szállás, minden csak pár percre gyalog: Boltok, buszpályaudvar, éttermek, motor kölcsönző, strand stb. Nyugodt környék, kellemesen tudtunk pihenni. A szállásadóval nem találkoztunk, de a kulcs már benne volt az ajtóban, úgyhogy be tudtunk menni könnyedén. Tiszta volt az apartman, a képeknek megfelelt. Volt vízforraló és hűtő.

Egy álló fogas volt, úgyhogy a kanapéra kellett a ruhákat kipakolni, de nem volt zavaró egyébként annyira. A klíma sajnos koszos volt belülről (párom azzal foglalkozik, úgyhogy első hogy megnézi mindenhol), véleményem szerint azt is kellene takaríttatni évente egyszer legalább, hogy a vendégek ne betegen térjenek haza.

The location is excellent — close enough to the centre to walk everywhere, but away from the noise. The apartment is clean, spacious and generally comfortable, with plenty of seating, a large shower and a very comfortable bed. It is particularly disappointing because, without the communication problems and the situation with the neighbour, I would probably have returned.

There were several practical issues. The bathroom has no shelving for toiletries, meaning everything ends up on the floor or balanced elsewhere, and the kitchen facilities are fairly basic. The air conditioning was also very poor and struggled to cool the apartment effectively. We also found a very large cockroach in the bathroom during our stay, which was not a particularly pleasant surprise. The biggest issue was the extremely poor communication regarding check-in. Around a week before our stay, I contacted the owner to ask for instructions and was simply told, “come after 12.” When I asked how we would actually access the property, I received no useful response. I contacted Booking.com and tried again before leaving the UK, but still received no proper instructions. After around 12 hours of travelling, we arrived with no clear signage confirming we were at the correct apartment, nobody to ask and no instructions explaining how to get in. We eventually noticed keys in a door but were understandably reluctant to try them in case we had the wrong property. Once inside, we were comparing the apartment with the booking photographs to confirm we were actually in the right place. This was precisely the situation I had repeatedly tried to avoid before travelling. The second and more significant issue was the behaviour of a neighbouring resident. We hired a quad for one evening and parked it at the bottom of the drive. The neighbour immediately came outside shouting and gesturing. As soon as we realised there was an issue, we moved the quad without argument. Unfortunately, it did not end there. While my husband moved it, the neighbour stood staring at me in what felt like an attempt to intimidate me. She later returned with a man and they stood around the quad, despite it having already been moved. I contacted the accommodation to ask where we were permitted to park and was simply told, “there’s parking at the port.
