The location is perfect, very close to the Old Town, buses, coaches and ferries. The view is stunning, worth climbing the 5th floor. The room was clean and in general nice. The host was responsive. Any time we tried to contact him the reply was instant or almost instant.

Functionality, user friendliness. The kitchen, in fact electric kettle, coffee maker, plates, glasses and cuttlery (cooking is not allowed) is shared between two rooms. There was nobody in the other room, so, in fact, the kitchen was private. When we arrived there were no mugs to make tea. All of them and some more plates were dirty in the dishwasher, which turned out to be out of order. The host accepted our complaint, but did not manage to repair it during our stay (3 nights). We asked for at least one chair, because the only seats were two puffs (the only devices to seat!), quite low and it was inconvenient to work on a laptop at the desk with arms held high (I know, there are better things to do in Split than work, but sometimes one has to... ;-). The host said the room was designed like this and everything was pictured on booking.com. So we managed somehow with the puffs. There were four towels in the bathroom, two for each person, quite a standard. But there were only two knobs to hang them. Once there were three, but one was already missing when we arrived. The second dropped off from the weight of a towel when we were out. The host accepted our notification and... that was all. The host apologized for the inconveniences, but during our stay none of them was solved. Other inconveniences: - except the large bed, two puffs and to stands for suitcases there is no place to put away your clothes - there are shelves, but most of them placed high, so even when one is tall, cannot see what is deeper, - the kitchen table is quite small, so when one does not use the dishwasher (we did not because it was out of order) and wash the dishes manually there is no place to prepare anything while the plates are drying. To sum up: Of course, one can manage with all inconveniences. But does not have to. With a little effort from the hosts to make it more functional, the apartment can be a really nice place to live, not just to look. And much better than a hotel room.

The location was perfect, on the seafront and very close to the heart of the old town. It all felt very safe. The room, at the very top of the building, was very clean with a lovely bathroom, comfortable bed, efficient air-conditioning and great wifi. Size-wise, it was perfect for a single person, a bit of squeeze for two. Coffee and tea-making facilities in a communal area, shared with one other apartment.

The 10 flights of stairs were a challenge to start off with, especially with luggage! Be aware that there is a bell tower immediately behind the building that rings a long, loud peal at 7 am every morning. Fine for early risers but you’ll need earplugs if you want to sleep in!

Location was perfect, views incredible and the apartment itself was luxury in my opinion.
