If you’ve always dreamed of staying in a cozy, secluded little house near the top of a hill, with a magnificent mountain view, a small veranda kitchen, a picturesque shady courtyard, and a real vineyard - this is the place for you.
At night, you’re guaranteed comfortable beds, wonderfully fresh, cool mountain air, and absolute silence, at least until the cows are driven out to pasture in the morning :)
The welcoming hosts, Amiran and Lali, will be happy to introduce you to Racha cuisine (sadly, we didn’t get a chance to try it - it just worked out that way) and authentic Khvanchkara wine. We, however, did try the wine almost continuously for two weeks :) - and even took some home with us. We loved it!
By the way, there were two adults - the parents - and a teenage child in our group, plus a cat and two guinea pigs :p Everyone was very happy with their stay. And if we get the chance, we’d be very happy to come back!
This wasn’t a downside for us, but just a heads-up for future guests: if you come here without your own car (like we did, haha), walking down to the nearest minimarket (one of only a handful in the village) and back means tackling about 240 metres of elevation change. It takes at least an hour, and often an hour and a half, even if you’re in reasonably good shape.

Beautiful garden, very nice fireplace, swimming pool looks attractive, but didn’t get a chance to use it, unfortunately. The bed was comfy. The owners are great, welcoming people. Property is close to town. If you want a breakfast, give the owners sufficient notice.
You can park inside their property, which was convenient.
The shower wasn’t really warming up, but considering we were there at the end of August, it was ok.
A little bit more cleaning would make this place truly shine

Ładny ogród z huśtawkami i przyjemną atmosferą, mili gospodarze. Domek składa się z salonu na dole oraz sypialni na piętrze i na dwie osoby był bardzo przestronny.
W domku było dosyć brudno, dodatkowo woda pod prysznicem miała tylko dwie możliwości ustawienia - zimną lub bardzo bardzo gorącą

House on the hill of Sadmeli has become my favorite destination. The whole area smells like roses. I spent a wonderful cozy evening by the fireplace with a glass of red wine from a local cellar. I will definitely come back here.
