Blue Gum tree cottage is situated in a quiet wooded area and the perfect location for visiting both the East & West coast in the Cape of South Africa.
The facilities inside the cottage are excellent.
Everything was perfect, there was nothing we didn’t like.

We loved everything about the cottage! It is beautifully decorated and tucked away under a canopy of trees- an absolute dream. The location is perfect: peaceful and quiet and just a short distance from the mall should you need to get anything.
The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. I always appreciate it when hosts go the extra mile and the simple yet thoughtful provision of tea, coffee, sugar and milk- even in a self-catering unit- really stood out. The two Lindt chocolates were also a sweet and welcoming touch. It’s those small details that show genuine care.
The cottage offers ample storage and comes fully equipped with all the necessary appliances. We especially loved the open-plan flow from the outdoor deck into the kitchen and lounge area. The bathroom is spacious and features a huge shower and the bed is very comfortable.
We also really appreciated the privacy the cottage offers.

Spacious, out in nature, modern design. It was very comfortable- especially warm in the winter. Super cozy.
The ground is on a wetland so be weary when driving but this is not a big concern if you are aware.
