This Is a beautiful stay in the rice Terraces. The construction fits well with the landscape so it’s a perfect stay for someone wanting an authentic experience. The best part though are the hosts. Such wonderful people that make you feel at home! Thank you so much!!!!

The family who own this property are so friendly and helpful. The bungalow is so peaceful and is on its own down the bottom of the garden so is secluded and quiet. I was happy that there were no construction noises nearby so I could relax and sleep peacefully. Breakfast was really nice and the location is close to nearby Wurang’s & the Monkey Forest.

The owner, Rosidi, worked hard overseas for years to save up and build this little slice of paradise. It’s a former rice field transformed into a lush fruit garden with two cute bungalows right at the edge of the village where he lives with his family.
We loved our morning trips to Tetebatu's rice fields and waterfalls with Rosidi, but our favorite part was always the afternoons back at Greenday. As parents, we did nothing but enjoy watching our kids (4 and 7) simply run around. Back home, they are used to traffic lights, man made playgrounds, and hearing us say, "Hold my hand, don't run away." But here, they were free. They had an absolute blast exploring with the local children—chasing chickens (which were roaming free, by the way!), playing with cats, observing the cows, and kicking a football, even scrambling down the valley just to fetch it.
Some memories:
* The valley symphony: Sitting in the garden at sunset as the sky turned pink and the air chilled, listening to the calls to prayer, cows mooing, roosters crowing, and kids' laughter echoing across the valley.
* The women’s laughter: Hearing the family’s women laugh together at my poor Indonesian, at our kids chasing chickens while yelling "Poulet! Poulet!" (French for chicken), or just while cooking and chatting.
* The taste of nature: Drinking fresh coconut juice right after Rosidi cut it from the tree. I remembered thinking: if nature has a taste that must be it. We had every meal at Greenday, and so many ingredients came directly from the garden.
* Rosidi's nature magic: On our walk, Rosidi made plant necklaces and grass-leaf "tattoos" on our kids' arms. Our kids were so impressed and began to search for tattoo leave everywhere!
Not all homestays have this kind of sincerity. Rosidi and his entire family are kind, natural and real. Real, that’s a good word to sum up our experience: like walking barefoot on a dirt road, nothing in between.

La chambre familiale est très bien avec une super salle de bain ! Les petits déjeuners et globalement les repas sont supers bons et les hôtes très gentils. Nous avons pu profiter des activités proposées qui sont aussi très chouettes.
