The old building is beautifully decorated with antique furniture, and all the original fittings of doors and windows. The garden is dramatic and peaceful, though the entrance is on a main street. There are sufficient implements provided for self-catering, but only just. Most visitors probably eat out in this lovely town. Chiara is a charming host who tried to solve any problems.
As there is no TV, connection to wifi was essential for communication and news, but it did not work until the third day as the result of a problem with the network. We found this issue quite disappointing. As it is such an old property, some maintenance is sorely needed on fixtures, and some more crockery would be useful.

We felt so welcomed by Sarita, Cara and Delfina, the lovely family who welcomed us into this restored Palazzo and catered to our every need. It felt like living in a piece of art. The property was unlike anything we have ever seen, from the historic little door opposite the church to the magical courtyard and garden. The location couldn’t have been better. It was spacious and really felt like a home.
The property doesn’t have air conditioning, as described in the listing, but opening windows with curtains and using the fan was more than enough during the late September nights.

Beautiful “old style” apartment with a wonderful peaceful garden. Classically furnished but comfortable and in a great location.
My only small niggle was that the WiFi didn’t work. I didn’t have time to raise this with the owners so I’m sure they would have resolved it.

Thé water was hot and the kitchen and bathroom function well
The old furniture is musty and partly beyond use, and our plea for different pillows was ignored. The image of the bedroom must be from photoshop because it doesn’t correspond to reality
