Blackwood house is perfect for a family. The host went above and beyond with a welcome message, plenty of food staples and a welcome hamper. The house is spotless clean and close to everything.
It’s on a busy road but the traffic stops in the evening so not really an issue.

The home was extremely clean, and so much thought had been put into the details that made entering into it feel like a big warm hug into our home.

So much! From the moment we walked in where the heat pump was already going so it was lovely and warm to noticing all of the small touches, juice and a few snacks on the table that the kids were super excited about, handwritten welcome sign. It’s obvious someone with a great sense of style has decorated as Blackwood has a really unique but beautiful feel. We felt both really comfortable and at home and that we were experiencing something a bit special. The beds were also all super comfortable, loved the heavy weight duvets and that there was a choice of soft or firm pillow on every bed. So many thoughtful touches that made the stay that much more enjoyable.
Another decent pan and bigger grateful would have been helpful and a few more plates bowls etc so you don’t have to wash everything by hand between each meal.
