Mucky accommodation terrible customer services
Title: Unsafe and unpleasant stay — extremely disappointing experience
My stay here was not pleasant at all. From the moment I arrived, I did not feel safe in the property and began trying to contact customer services immediately. I spent over three hours trying to get a clear answer or any help from them. During that time, customer service was evasive and unhelpful, and I never received a proper response about checking out or what refund I might be entitled to.
Because I had already spent £373 for three nights and could not afford to book somewhere else at short notice, I had to settle on staying there for that night, even though I felt unsafe and uncomfortable.
The door didn’t lock properly, meaning I had to leave the apartment unsecured whenever I went out. Inside, there was oil on the floor and bugs all around the bathroom. I was severely bitten during my short time there. Although pest control was eventually sent out, the issue did not improve, and I continued to be bitten.
The water ran orange from both the shower and taps, and the balcony door had no proper lock. I felt so unsafe that I barricaded the entrance with a table while inside. The safe inside the wardrobe was not secure either — it could easily have been lifted out, offering no real protection for valuables.
I did not use any of the facilities in the room, and I did not even unpack my belongings while waiting for customer support to respond. Later in the following day, I vacated the property to allow pest control and cleaners to come in, but the situation did not improve.
The building itself was dirty and cluttered, and the pool area was obstructed by building materials. The customer support throughout was shocking — evasive, slow, and completely unhelpful.
Now, two weeks later, I’ve only been offered 441 AED, which doesn’t even cover one night’s stay. For the unsafe conditions, lack of cleanliness, and complete absence of customer care, this is totally unacceptable.
