Sligo City apartment

This little apartment is in a wonderful location! The facilities are all that you could need and the pictures don't do it justice. The host was very great at communicating and we had a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend.

This was a very cute apartment on John Street, pretty much in the Centre of Sligo Town. Upon entering the place, there was a table and chairs to the left, with a wall-mounted TV, and then a kitchen counter with everything you required for cooking, making tea etc. Then, at the back of the place there was bunkbeds on the right, and the immaculately clean bathroom on the left. One other great feature was that the property is around a 60 second walk from a large Tesco and it's carpark.

We were told there wouldn't be free wi-fi, and I figured of course I could do without that for one night! But then, there WAS a modem there, with what appeared to be an available connection, only try as we might, we were unable to connect to it. This caused problems for us, as it curtailed the TV from working too, which was inconvenient as my 13 year old lad and I wanted to stay up for the Cape Verde v Argentina game, in the end we had to watch it on my phone. The only other small grumbles are that the bunk beds were not particularly comfortable, while the sofa bed kinda came apart when we pulled it out from the wall, and hence there was no way I was gonna risk sleeping on it./

So close to town, and everything you need

The location is perfect and very central to Sligo Town centre. The accommodation was clean and tidy.

The furniture is very basic and dated. The beds are very basic and need changing. The bedding and pillows need to updated. The towels were old and discoloured. The back yard was overgrown and there was rubbish visible on the top of what seemed to be a shed.
