It was done up to an excellent standard, the accommodation had everything you could need for a stay. I couldn’t recommend it enough and the only thing I would strongly advise is to book a stay here and see for yourself!

Die Lage ist wundervoll, direkt an einem See gelegen. Die Unterkunft ist bestens ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt! Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend!

There is so much to like about staying at The Lake House, from the location overlooking the private lake in the middle distance to the serene peaceful surroundings with the sound of birdsong and so much more!
We stayed 5 nights and had glorious sunshine throughout. Being so well located and just a few minutes from the fully extended A30, which is now an excellent dual carriageway all the way to Penzance, we were able to see lots of sites on our wish list. Many places are an easy drive away.
• The Story of Emily (highly recommended - recently opened with the best interactive exhibition I have seen including the London venues)
• The Eden Project
• The Lost Gardens of Heligan
• Trebah Gardens (the walk down to the beach is well worthwhile)
• Trelissick
• The Nare Hotel (Sunday lunch is highly recommended, early booking essential, especially if you want a window table overlooking the bay)
• St. Michael's Mount & Castle (check the tides if you plan to walk the causeway otherwise boat across)
• Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens
Azaleas, camelias, rhododendrons, acers were in abundance on our visits showing off their magnificent colours.
The cottage we found to be very well designed, recently built in very attractive local stone with no expense spared to achieve a very appealing base. From the luxurious furnishings and fittings to the uninterrupted rural views and magnificent sunsets over the hills, this is a truly wonderful place to stay.
I really cannot think of anything! If you like casinos or the perpetual noise of traffic you may be disappointed! If you like the night sky, wonderful sunsets, rural tranquillity with proximity to great places to visit, you will love it here.

Beautiful retreat with everything you could possibly need, immaculate clean and lovely views over the lake !
Comfortable bed , fluffy bath robes and towels , and lots of provisions provided ! Nice hosts but very private and peaceful can’t wait to come back !
